Fees and Billing Policy
At Whittlesea Medical Imaging, all X-rays, OPG/Lat Ceph, CT Scans are 100% bulk billed. Only ultrasound scanning attracts a gap fee for non concession card holders. Patients will be informed of the gap amount when making appointment and is expected to be settled on the day that service is provided by Radskill Imaging Clinic.
Our Fees
Our ultrasound fees reflect the service, training and dedication of our professional staff and are lower than that seen in other radiology services providers. Complex and expensive equipment are required to provide an accurate diagnosis and an effective modern radiology Practice.
Bulk-Billed Services
Bulk-Billing, that is to say, no “out of pocket” or “no gap” examinations are available for all x-rays, OPG/Lat Ceph, CT Scanning and it applies to all patients
DVA Gold / White Card Holders are welcome
NOTE: Patients must have a valid Medicare card with them at the time of their appointment.
Your Privacy
When you attend Radskill Imaging Clinic, even though you may not see our radiologist, a doctor-patient relationship is formed and the privacy of this relationship is protected by law. This means that we can only release the results of your test to people who are authorized to receive it (such as your referring doctor and other doctors who may subsequently be involved in you care). We cannot release your results to anyone else or other party without your consent. Your Rights and Responsibilities
All patients at Radskill Imaging attend our clinic of their own will and are never coerced into undergoing any scan. Should you change your mind at any time, please let us know immediately so that we may instantly terminate the scan. We will endeavour to provide you with as much information as possible so that you may make a fully informed decision prior to any scan and/or procedure. At Radskill Imaging Clinics, you have the right to be treated with dignity, respect and courteously. Should this not be the case, our radiographer and practice manager want to know and we request you provide us with your feedback
